Hello everyone! Happy Spring! We wanted to reach out to share upcoming events, important dates, and general Preserve Home Owners Association (HOA) information.

Brush Pickup Resumes in April 2023
Pickup starts on Thursday, April 6th and continues every other week. Brush pickup occurs on the weeks we do not have recycling picked up. Please do not place brush out on the weeks it will not be collected! Collection continues through the end of November. During the weeks of Memorial Day and Labor Day, brush pickup will be delayed until Friday. Christmas tree pickup is tentatively scheduled for January 11 & 25, 2024.
Easter Egg Hunt
Preserve neighbor Allison Rumschik has graciously volunteered to organize an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 8th at 1pm. Eggs will be hidden in The Preserve (the entrance across from 4326 Winding Creek). If you plan on coming please let Allison know how many kids so she can have an idea of numbers! Please check the neighborhood Facebook page or reach out to Allison if you have any questions about this event.
Preserve Annual Garage Sale
Mark your calendars! The neighborhood garage sale is set for Saturday, May 20th.
Property Maintenance Reminder
All Preserve homeowners are responsible for maintenance of the exterior of their homes including:
• Lawn Mowing
• Weeding
• Landscaping
Please reach out to neighbors if you need recommendations for mowing and/or landscaping services.
Other Important Reminders!
– Any additions or external modifications to your property need to be approved by the HOA. Some examples include: changing house color, installing a pool or shed, replacing a roof and driveway alterations. Applications and instructions are found on the HOA website.
– Outside Storage of boats, campers, trailers etc is prohibited.
– Parking of vehicles on lawns is not permitted.
– Please be courteous and clean up after your dogs on streets, lawns and the walking trails! Also, do NOT place dog waste in the street drains! These drain rainwater to the forever wild or behind neighborhood properties and waste bags will interfere with water flow/drainage.
-Please take down any holiday lights/decorations in a timely manner.
Preserve HOA Annual Meeting
As laid out by the Preserve HOA By-Laws, each year a meeting of all the Preserve residents must be conducted. This year’s annual meeting has been scheduled for Saturday, September 9th at 2 PM with a rain date of September 16th. The meeting will be held in the open space behind VP Dave Angello’s house located at 4345 Winding Creek Road (same location for block party).
Block Party
This year we are planning to hold a block party after the annual meeting from 4-6pm behind 4345 Winding Creek Rd. We will have food provided by Toss N Fire, ice cream by Skippy’s and the ever-popular bouncy houses!
Drainage Project
The drainage project will conclude this spring/summer. Remaining work includes adding topsoil, grading and reseeding the ground around and over the pre-existing swales. Any questions about the remaining work can be directed to B R Way, Town Highway Supervisor, at 315-682-9544.
Dumpsters
As mentioned in the letter included with the Preserve HOA dues invoice, the annual neighborhood dumpsters have been discontinued.
2023 Holiday Garbage Schedule Changes
From the Dependable Garbage Website, please note that trash pickup is delayed by one day during the weeks of Memorial Day (May 29), Labor Day (Sept 4) and Christmas Day (Dec 25).
