Yard Waste Pickup

Yard waste pickup dates 2021:

April 9, April 23, May 7, May 21, June 4, June 18, July 1, July 15, July 29, August 12, August 26, September 10, September 24, October 8, October 22, November 5, November 18, December 3, December 17.

The first pick up is the first Thursday in April, and then it’s every other Thursday through the second week of December. There is also a Christmas Tree Pickup that usually occurs the first two weeks of January. Bi-Weekly Pickups will occur between the hours of 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Inclement weather may create delays, maybe even the next day.

All brush must be placed curbside or at the edge of pavement in front of each property the night before designated collection day or by 6 a.m. the day of your pickup. 

Collection of the brush is to include leaves, vegetation (pumpkin and apples), tree and shrub branches, grass clippings, Christmas trees, and other acceptable yard waste. The brush should be tied in bundles with twine or string or placed in brown recyclable yard waste bags.

No materials will be collected in trash or plastic bags (they are not recyclable).

Bundles of the brush may not be more than 50 lbs. Each and packages may not exceed 5 feet in length.

Preparing Brush for Pick Up

• Brush put out for collection must not block sewer drains or roads.

• Bundles Should be tied with twine/string or placed in a plastic or metal container.

• Bundles may not exceed 5 feet in length.

• Containers and bundles of the brush may not be more than 50 pounds each.

• No materials will be collected in trash or plastic bags (they are not recyclable).

If you do miss a pickup, please do not leave your yard waste by the road until the pickup two weeks later. Please store the yard waste and then take it out the night before, the same as you do your trash cans.
